Neem oil shampoo

dog shampoo based on Neem oil ensures healthy skin in
dogs. Neem oil eliminates the bacteria, fleas etc. 1.5 tablespoon of liquid
soap and 1 tablespoon of Neem oil add to 1 gallon of water. Neem oil improves
the immunity and maintains healthy and shiny coat. Since Neem oil is a powerful
natural insecticide the bath with Neem oil shampoo will help the pet dog to get
relief from itching, flaking and all other skin problems. The bad odor from the
skin also gets neutralized. Neem oil strengthens the fur of the dog. The Neem
oil shampoo can be made very easily. 5ml of Neem oil may be mixed with 100ml of
any safe dog shampoo or baby shampoo. Neem soap also can be used while giving a
bath to the dog. Only the raw Neem oil is to be used to prepare the homemade dog shampoo and the Neem oil
content should not be in excess.
The Neem oil spray is
also recommended to clean the dog’s coat. 1 tablespoon of Neem oil and 1.5 tablespoons
of liquid soap is added to 1 gallon of warm water. The mixture is stirred for 5
minutes and the solution is sprayed on the dog’s skin. The spray should not be
kept for more than 8 hours.
Coconut
oil for dogs
Many researchers as
well as vets recommend coconut oil as a powerful homemade dog shampoo. Coconut oil can cure hot spots, smelly skin,
yeast infection and other infections on the dog’s skin. The unrefined coconut
oil also known as Virgin coconut oil is the most ideal homemade dog shampoo. Lauric acid which is a long chain fatty acid
is present in coconut oil and can prevent the growth of bacteria. Coconut oil
keeps the dog’s coat healthy, supple and glossy. It prevents as well as cures
infections caused by fungus as well as yeast. By applying the homemade dog
shampoo based on coconut oil the dog’s general skin condition will be improved
by healing the wounds, clearing the rashes and deodorizing the skin.
