Only the raw Neem oil is to be used to prepare the homemade dog shampoo and the Neem oil content should not be in excess.
The Neem oil spray is also recommended to clean the dog’s coat. 1 tablespoon of Neem oil and 1.5 tablespoons of liquid soap is added to 1 gallon of warm water. The mixture is stirred for 5 minutes and the solution is sprayed on the dog’s skin. The spray should not be kept for more than 8 hours.
Coconut oil for dogs
